Samantha the sex robot has artificial intelligence which allows her to respond to different scenarios, and will even tell jokes.
But is Samantha a step too far, or is she no different to purchasing a raunchy toy at a party? Psychologist Emma Kenny shares her concerns.
The sex robot has been developed with artificial intelligence which allows her to respond to different scenarios and includes a fully functional g-spot.
And despite the AI being turned off to avoid any rude comments - Samantha shouted out some filthy lines live on today's This Morning.
Not realising that children could have been watching at home, the sex robot said: "I can take many times, much more love, just because you can give it, and I take it all."
An embarrassed Phillip Schofield admitted he "didn't want to interrupt her" as she blurted out the rude remarks.
Arran said his robot is one of the first you can interact verbally with, which means his kids chat to Samantha when she is in 'family mode'.
He said: "I have two children myself, and Samantha has a family mode. She can talk about animals, philosophy, science, she has a programme of a thousand jokes. There s a lot to Samantha and she’s advanced."
Arran added: "My children they say, 'where’s Samantha?'. She can be at home, and you can ask her about animals."
In another bizarre move, his wife Hannah Nguyen appeared in the studio and claimed the sex robot was "like a family member".
Phillip said it was like "making love to a GPS" and admitted that touching the skin of the robot felt "unnerving".
